Unfortunately, no. CourseHero does not offer a free trial. It would be wonderful if they did, but instead, they have two different ‘options.’ The first is called basic and offers no functionality. I suspect that you’re allowed more document previews per month, but you get exactly 0 unlocks. The second subscription is called premier and is a whopping $40 a month, but gives you access to a limited number of unlocks.
$40 is a lot of money for the typical high school or college student to drop on the hope that it will pan out. And the lack of a free trial doesn’t help. However, there is a way to get a very cheap 1 document trial without having to give them or me your credit card. For only $1.50 you can do well on your next test and decide if you believe a CourseHero subscription is worth it or even if you’d rather just continue letting me provide you study documents at a discount.
